yep those numbers are all at the crank too. divide those numbers by 15-20% for rear wheel numbers

 

that is still more HP than what the raptor puts out at the crank. i heard a Raptor is about 47

 

Yup, I tried to start it and use the choke. Bad move by me I suppose....

Face it, Kawi's are complete crap wrapped around a supposedly good motor. Almost everyone who has one has some problem with it and most of it is Mickey Mouse stuff. The forums are loaded with bad Kawi stories. I got sucked into the strong motor and new model...and got burned. Lesson learned.

Consider yourself lucky that you got one that must have been assmebled at a Honda factory.

 

I still am not clear on the problem mikey is describing. I mean the carbs are like maybe 5 percentile off on adjustment and I get the slight stuble here and there but is still a blast to ride. I dont' understand the tried to start it with the choke on bad move on my part thing. It's been cold since I've bought mine and consequently use the choke every time I start it and have no issues. When it is very cold sometimes the 2nd cylander don't fire for about 5 seconds after the first one but I dont' see that making the HP vary from 50.9 to 0 because the carbs suck? They need to fix the little problem with the flaw airbox design (same as the vforce) but aside from that I'd like some clarification just out of curiousity.

Basically, I slid the choke on and the lever busted into like 3 pieces. That's just on top of everything else that sucks about this damn thing. Just read around the forjms, you'll see what I mean. For every one Kawi die-hard there are about 50 owners that want to declare Jihad against them and drive their quad off a high cliff. Got sucked into the hype....and that's my fault. I just hope that prospective buyers know whet they're getting into when they buy Kawi junk.

I'm out $7000++ dollars and there is no end in sight.

I'll never touch another Kawi product since they seemed to be plagued with the worst issues of any of the quads.

All for that "great" v-twin engine... they can shove that famous v-twin right up their ****....

Mikey, there is a lemon in every bunch. I havent had any probs with my brute and i would trade it for anything. They aint no sense in running down a quad a possible making someone make the wrong decison just because you got a lemon. Contrary to what u believe, the brute is FAR from junk. I can easliy wheelie all day long with my 29.5s by the way. I dont supose junk can do that ......
