ok id like to know if the cold weather would have an impact on the carb like its iether to rich or to lean ? if im riding it acts like it wants to cut out but if i hit the chock i little it runs better.........but all the problems im having now is from my carb is there a good stage 2 jet kit that has all the right thing to work ? i mean like vacum spring and jets or what? and whare to get them............

I have jets in my quad and mine runs sweet, i have no problems with it in the snow and cold weather. On the other hand my friends quads that are jetted have problems running and cut out a lot like yours. Most likely the problems is that your jets are not adjusted right and your quads not running smooth. I had mine jetted once and i have never had a problem once. Adjust them and see what happens.

ok well ive adjusted to the piont ov there not going to be able to adjust plus i live here in montana and it gets cold.... the mountains here and so on the above sea level thing well what im getting at the air here is much thinner then most i live close to helena montana so im guessing that its also got to do with the air and coldness here i wish i new the right air fuel mixture setting ...... considering my quad runs graet except for the carb

Ranger, note your settings & elevation when it was running good.
Since Colder weather requires more fuel, maybe you should try the next larger main jet and readjust your mixture screws.
If a larger main Jet makes it run too rich, go back to original main jet & try shimming/adding washer to your needle or changing the clip position if you have the dynojet adjustable needles.
If you have went up in elevation from when your bike was running good, bike now will require less fuel. Also, keep in mine that if you have it jetted perfect for 8000 ft & 40 degrees and temp drops to 0* your bike will be lean. And, if you go to 10000 ft from 8000 your bike will likely be rich.
