Just bought a KFX400 and have some questions?
Well, if it happens only as the brake is applied it could be that you need new pads, or the pads are glazed a bit from getting overheated. The rotor could be bent or warped also. The stock swingarm skid is pathetic on most sport quads, and the KFX is in that category i'm afraid. It is pretty easy to hit something and knock the rotor out of whack. Could be a ton of other things too, those are just some causes if the noise is truly coming from the rear brake. Also, make sure it isn't a loose/missing bolt causing things to move around.
