Default Is the Dayco Belts Good???

I have read a few threads about problems with the Dayco belts. I had a Dayco belt installed on my kawa 700 prairie at about 350 miles. I now have 970 miles and haven't had any problems with it.

1. Should I be concerned?????

2. I currently don't carry a back up belt with me. Should I carry one and if so, what tools do I need to change a belt on a 700 kawi prairie?????

Thanks for the information.

The guy that tested them said they were crap. I would put on a kawi p700 belt and carry your dayco as a spare (although most don't carry a spare). Look on nyroc's site for how to change belts and you will see the tools there.
