Harford County Sheriff's Deputies will resume their search this morning for the person who accidentially drove an ATV off a road and into bone chilling water 70 feet below.
It happened just before two o'clock Saturday morning on Quarry Road at Route 136.
Deputies and Firefighters spent more than two hours searching for the driver.
They say two people were riding ATV's in the woods.
One rider apparently warned the other about the quarry ahead, but the warning came too late.
A helicopter was brought in to help with the search, but was called off because of the hazardous conditions.
Officials say it was too dark and too cold and icy to conduct the search.
Rescue workers will report back to the scene at daylight.
I know its terrible for anyone to get hurt none the less die. You have to ask yourself what was this guy thinking?I mean 2am in the morning out riding in temps in the teens.Puhleeze grow a brain, or just stay off atv's it makes us look bad!!!
