Default backfiring fixes on brute 750

I just got the brute back from the dealer and it is still backfiring when I go full throtle then let off. I know this is normally a rich condition but he didn't change the factory main jets only the needles ang pilots. Can I adjust anything or what? Anyone know any fixes?

Actually its exactly the opposite. The idle circuit is too lean.
Is the quad stock? If so Try going 1/4 to 1/2 turn more rich on the mixture screws.

I have mine at 3 turn out and no more backfireing.....but that is a little too rich, when I get to about 2000 ft or higher it idles a little rough, need's to be about 2 3/4 turns out......

Don't Know why dealer changed the Pilot Jets from stock? Fatter Pilots will make your engine excessively rich at idle. I'd try turning IN the mixture screws if in in 1/4 increments to see if it runs/starts better if you got larger than stock pilot jets installed.

I've been told also that one size difference in pilots is equal to one full turn on the screws....don't know for sure though

I would like to know which one is the mixture screw. Is it easy to get to. My exhaust backfires also
do you have to screw it in our out.
