Just wondering if anybody can tell me what type of coolant to use to top off my Brute Force 750? I put a small hole in my hose this weekend (but had a lot of fun doing it!!!) while riding. Don't think I lost much, but haven't had time to check yet. I'm at work right now and don't have my manual with me, but I'd like to stop on the way home and pick up some antifreeze so I can repair the hose (hole is only about 3/4" from the clamp, so I should be able to cut and re-attach it) and replace whatever coolant I lost. Thanks in advance for the help!

 

Hey Far! Go to NYROC's website Tech tips look under cooling mod's he tells you to never use dex-cool
something about it deteriotes inside of engine.If I were you I would just use Prestone (green color)
anti freeze.

 

Thanks, Brusier. That's kind of what I was thinking (the green Prestone), but wasn't sure. Anyways, I didn't get your message until this morning, and I have my manual in my truck now so I can double-check it before I leave today to make sure I get the right stuff.
