Mnfrieson, There are 2 dealerships locally in my area I enjoy doing business with. Niether carry Polaris, I know thats a stupid reason. Nothing wrong with them in my opinion.

Gary, I own both and I've compared them at various times on this forum. You can find several of them here, here and here. My Brute Force (750) is now sporting Elka shocks all the way around and it has improved the handling as well as softened the ride some since I made those comparisons.

If you are power hungry you may find the Brute suits your needs better but it also comes down to how the features work for you and how each machine feels to you as the Grizzly (in spite of being outclassed by most of the other big bores) is still a good machine...

Regarding 4wd engagement on the BF or the P700, neither one engages in reverse from 2wd. My P650 does, but not the 700 or 750.

It's not that hard to get used to.....the more aggravating thing is the 4wd will not engage on the spot. You have to push the 4wd button, then drive ahead 5'-7' for it to engage. If you then go into reverse, it will stay engaged.

If you see boulders or unknown mud, better have it engaged before you get there. I got used to it pretty quick, not a biggie.
