You might want to check out Black River Falls in WI and the Clark County Trail System next to it. Also, check out the trails around Ashland WI. Also, lots of other places, just search WI.

Last year the family and I rode did the Paunsaugunt Plateau just outside of Bryce canyon Utah, absolutly incredible! I did it once in early May and was so impressed I talked my Sister and her family into doing it again 4 weeks later on Memoial day. So this year over Easter we are going to ride the Coral Pink dunes outside of Kanab and then head to the North rim of the Grand Canyon. In July I am going to spend 8 days on the Paiute Trail. I just started riding in Utah last year and they really cater to the Atv crowd. Instead of closing areas they actually build remote trail systems and encourage OHV, kinda cool. For me It's between 6 and 8 hours to hit most of the good trail sections in UT.

South Dakota any place any where! If you live near here get some plates for it and drive (in SD) to the next location on black top till you find that sweet trail. There are plenty of trails like that mentioned above.

I'd throw out Colorado on top of the other options as well. While we don't have any one place that is a mecca so to speak there are many places that you could go ride for a week and have a great time. Piaute trail area in Utah is also great. I have pictures of some of the areas in my gallery.

brutebadger is right....Utah has everything you need for a great vacation. I've spent a week riding Moab, and a week riding the Piaute Trail out of Marysvale, and found Utah to be the most rider friendly place I've ever been.
You'll find Moab to be more of a high desert environment with deep canyons and scenic passes, whereas the Piaute Trail can take you from 5,800ft. to 11,500ft in a day of riding. Both offer different kinds of riding...especially the black trails on the Piaute.
My wheelers ran fine at the 4,500ft altitude at Moab, but I would certainly recommend re-jetting if you ride the Piaute.
I've got plenty of pics if you want to see what you are getting into. Just send me a PM.
Ride safe!
