Default What's a good price on Brute Force 650?

Looking to buy a new 2005 Brute Force 650. What is a good price excluding tax and registration (to keep it comparable between states), but including all other charges like freight, prep, destination, paper work fee (or any other descriptions the dealers use instead of profit). Based on List price this looks like the best value around. 2002 Prairie 650 was $6,999 and this is essentially the same machine 3 years later, but looking better and costing $400 less!

I would also like feedback from any Prairee owners on the reliability of this machine.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Pre-tax, the price for mine was $6,200. My dealer does not charge freight or any other bogus fees on his machines so that was the price. After taxes and licensing and regristration I think the total price came to be around $6,700. Hope you get a good deal.

I just got a BF650 about 2 months ago...Very satisfied....About 130 miles so far....

I paid 5900 before tax and fees...came to about 6500 total 5% tax in WV

It took me a few days of dealing and callin around...I found that price at a dealer about 1.5 hrs from my house...They tried to burn me in the beginning but i told them that i could get it for this here and they got to match or im gone... so they matched it...Also got a Helmet...HJC i think taht is what it is....

$5999 before tax for me. Hopefully you don't have 8% sales tax like I do. Sux.

D&H cycles in cullman alabama has them in camo for $5900 out the door.

Subtract $300 for the standard models.

I PURCHASED MINE 2 WEEKS AGO IN TEXAS AND PAID 6207.00 OUT THE DOOR WITH TAX. COULD HAVE GOT IT FOR 5743.00 IF I USED THE FARM TAX EXEMPTION.

I just picked mine up tonight and it looks like I got a pretty good deal.

$5,367.00 2005 Brute Force 650
273.00 Destination, Setup, Vehicle Prep
59.00 Paperwork Services Fee
284.95 WI State Tax (Govt.)
30.00 WI Registration Fee (Govt.)

$6,013.95 Bottom Line Total

Any recommendations on a good windshield for the Brute Force 650? Looking at the VIP Air - Anyone have one?
