Default 2004 700p mods and performance

Hey, Just bought a 700p, 2004. I hope I got a good deal.(900 miles, paid 5000.00) It has new gotor tires even. I was wondering how the clutches should be set up for 6000 ft altitude trail riding. I live in Montana so it can range from 6000 to 9000 vary quickly. What color springs and size weights. What would be the best mod to make first to improve performance from stock.

Cant help with your altitude, but the best performance mod would be a CDI or Module. The best handling mod would be a set of Elka or Progressive springs.

Use the same set-up that I have on my 700. I talked to Dale at Dalton Springs, and purchased mine through Ritter Cycle/Rick Ritter.
