Hey Ride,

I haven't been around for a few days, sorry I haven't said thanks for all your info. and help until now. THANKS. You have really helped me a great deal. Sucks to be busy I haven't even put my parts on yet. I did however figure out what that slapping sound was that I thought was my chain. My stock exhaust pipe came loose. Tight as a button now and NO noise when landing off of big jumps.

I do have another lingering question for you about those wheel spacers though. I was curious if they actually took power away when you installed them. I remember you stating that you did not have enough power with the jet/k&n/pipe.

Oh yeah, something else, you where telling me how to do a wheelie by holding my shifter up and taching it then letting it down. This does not work for me, as soon as I shift up it goes into second and takes off while I'm still holding the shifter up. I'm suspecting I need to re-adjust my clutch release screw. Would you say the same?

Well, thanks again for all your input.

Stebob

Bob,

I feel that my bike demanded more power in the tight turns on the track with the spacers, but that is just my opinion.
The shifter on the Lakota is also a clutch. Lift up the lever but DO NOT CHANGE GEARS, it should clutch the motor almost 100%.

RockErc,

The service manager said it should not hurt the bike, it may indeed cause the clutch to wear out a bit faster but will cause no major damage.
