Default DEAD BRUTE

Went to start my brute and pushed the starter button. it started to crank, then all of a sudden dead. used the rope to get it started. after rideing down the rode. i turned it off then pushed the start button and it worked. what should i look for as the problem? is there a relay that is for the starter that may have failed or what? p.s. the battery is not dead, the quad only has 25 miles on it.

Check your battery connections, both end and fuses.
