question ,I fully opened the throttle about 3 or 4 times on my brute yesterday it's got only 13 hours on it. Did i just seriously do something to it? Hit 112kph too damn fun any feedback would be great oh and i'm not writing this cause something feels wrong or anything( except my consience) i've always had dirt bikes just not as fimiliar with atv's thanx

 

It will be fine.

 

The owners manual says nothing past half throttle for the first 10 hours. After that you should be good to go.

 

Let me tell you how I did it on my V.

Got it home from the dealer, took it off of the trailer and warmed it up until the fan came on once.
I leaned over the handle bars and WOT it went. At the end of the 1/8 mile I turned it around and did the samething about 12 more times. End of breakin.

I will put my V leakdown numbers up against any breakin technique.

PS: my fan almost NEVER comes on and it does not burn a drop of oil like I have heard some new V owners complain about.

After 100 miles give er' hell! These new engines will last a long time as long as you take care of them and there also just using regular oil instead of break in oil. Enjoy!!
