There could be a broken wire in the mag. Check fist though by stripping the wires coming from the mag and while turning over the bike see which ones will spark off the frame, there should be two ones that will spark(the live ones ) one for lights and one for the plug. Also check any joins in the wiring along the way and check everthing is properly earthed.

I'd check the coil and the wires....i have no idea on the colors but i'd get a manuel and go through and check everything...replace any faulty parts along the way to save you time and effort

Don't know the colours but on my zilla there is 4 wires and 2 are lives. The live for my lights was yellow and red i think. If you take off the mag get a bike shop to check the resistance.

Right then open up the mag (thats where the wires come out of the block). Take off the flywheel and then the coils. You will probaly need a pullers to get off the flywheel. Check all connections and clean them sometimes dirt can be the prob and put the coils and flywheel back on(hand tight will do) and retry, if you get nothing have a mechanic or auto electrican look at the coils. Also how many wires are comeing out of the block?

Sorry I haven't been online lately. Well did you have any luck, did you open up the mag if so how are the connections. I haven't a clue what the fifth wire would be. If it is not the mag it could be cdi,
