Maxxis Big Horn

I just got a set of them and so far so good. I'm just woundering how much air pressure you guys are running and what do you think of your Big Horns. I am now running 7lbs. of air pressure, I'm just not to sure if that is enough, too much? I ride in LOTS of rocks and wash outs. Thank you for your time...........

I can't seem to keep air in my front tires. I tried 7lbs, but after riding very aggressive for a hr, both tires were half flat. Then at the Georgia race I put in 10lbs and they lasted longer, but still would loose air. Right now I'm not overly happy with my Bighorns.

GE4x4, Are you sure they are sealed on the rim I know that I had to put 36lbs in them to get the bead to seal completely. Don't run them at this pressure it is just for sealing the bead then take it down to running pressure. It is alright to do this because it said so the side of the tire. This might help if you are loosing air around the bead. Good luck......

I got then from a local dealer, they were $365.00 but that was taking off the old tires ( Which was full of slime) and mounting the Big Horns. They are 25in. and they are tall for 25s, I'd say they are about an inch taller than the ATRs.
