wondering if anyone can tell me the top speed of the 05 Brute Force.

Hey not sure what the top speed is but it isn't what to worry about... its the kickbutt wheelies and snortin tire spin that make the bike awesome. When you put it to the bar she hauls *ss. Just got mine on Friday, goes like stink.

 

05brute: let us know Monday how it went after picking it up Thursday.

 

My bf750 will hold 69 mph for quite awhile. The top speed I've ever had her was 72 but that was going down a slight incline.

 

Haven't had mine topped out yet. From reading the forums and magazines it looks like an average top speed would be 70 mph. Some do a little less and some do slightly better.

 

thanks for the replys. Thats pretty fast, but I thought the 750 BF was faster than the Kingquad. Others told me their Kings do 73 on the level. Also does the 650 come close to 70mph stock.(650 I may be buying)

 

The BF or the P700 are quicker than the King but if given enough distance the KQ will be a little faster. But for me, the quickness means way more than a few mph, my P650 rarely gets above 50 but I have allot of fun getting there.

 

Bigwave, if your P650 barely goes above 50mph then you have a problem, do you mean 60?

I've seen more KQ claims winning the top speed battle, but the V-Twins will have better acceleration from the torque. Torque is much more useful than HP.

I don't even care about claims of 1-3mph, my GPS says my speedo is fast by 3mph, so if a guys says hes doing 73, who know what it really is. Getting there is what matters if your riding a trail. If you want to drag race why don't you buy a car.

 

I think he was saying that he rarely rides over 50mph. Not that his quad won't go over 50
