Default Lakota Sport Upgrades

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but i was wondering, if you guys could help. I have a 2001 and a 2003 lakota sport. I was wondering what upgrades there were for them. They are all stock right now. It would also be nice if you could tell me were to find the parts and roughly what order i should buy the upgrades. I will probably only buy add ons for just one of the lakota's.

Check out my 2003 lakota, i have a ton of parts on it. Start out with a pipe, jet kit, airfilter, 13 tooth sprocket, same as clover said. Check out these sites rockymountainatv.com they have a lot of parts for the lakota, as well as denniskirk.com. Also check out cycleworksracing.net they have a lot of parts for the lakota and gregis a great guy to deal with.

what kind of mods are you looking for. with the 13 tooth sproket it felt to me that it helped the poor power band on the lakota come alive a little bit.

just trying to get a little more performance out of them while we wait and debate on wether we are going to buy the vforce 700 model by kawi. Right now i'm looking at buying the 13t sprocket, dynojet kit and new filter for now. The exhaust is a little out of my riange right now.

You should go with the 13 tooth sprocket and a Power Kit. For the money you shall see a nice difference in power.

does the jet kit brand matter much? Because the place shadetreeatv.com has one at a close out price really cheap that comes with the jet and filter but i don;t kno what brand it is.

Well i was looking at shadetree's mag. today and saw they had a K&N power kit, if i were you i would buy that it's only 40 bucks and K&n is one of the most popular brands for jet kits. Also the brand doesnt really matter it all the same thing.

i always thought that the power kit was a waist when i can go and buy everything for cheaper. but if you dont want to fool around much with your jettting then get it.
