Racing can ruin everything!

Well guys, I have had the race team going for some years now and have neglected everything else in my life in the persuit to keep my guys winning and the one thing a guy should never do is put the racing and the quads before the family,,, too bad I had to wait till I got a slap in the face to see it! Just wanted to remind all of you that you should always put your family first,,, they are the most important thing in the world you have! If you know anyone who may be interested in buying my 785 Prairie that has dominated just about every race it has been in from the local races to the GNCC races have um give me a call... it's all up for sale along with all the extras! Have um call me at 515-571-6350! Thanks guys,,, Jim D
I will probley put a listing in the classifieds with more details on what all is on this $00,000 dollar quad!

PW,
I'm very sorry to hear that you are getting out of racing/selling your beautiful P785...but your point above about the family comes first is a good one indeed!

Sorry to see you sell your awesome quad, but you hit the nail on the head about putting family 1st. Spending time with my family is the glue that keeps us bonded. Even if you have to sell, it would be good to continue to hear from you on the forum. We appreciate you vast knowledge.

It hurts to have to sell something you worked so hard to build just the way you want it. It hurts more to loose the family you should have been building instead. Sad to hear you're getting rid of your quad. Glad to hear your wakeup call wasn't from her lawyer.
Will you be remaining involved with the sport at all, i.e. recreationally with the family in tow?

Good luck Wrench you made the right decision..this traveling racing deal is nothing but a big ole black hole by its self ...I got into the quad deal to save a little money over the heavy racing vehicles and do a little racin , well that was fine last year but i have been grossed out by high costs and not willing to pay the price. I won a big atvdra event last year and you won a bunch of big events now its time to leave as a winner and concentrate on bigger things like family...For me its my new yard care sideline business and Machine shop and Farming getting and keeping a girl friend and maybe starting a family at 49yrs old she will not put up with all the above one must go and I must generate money not burn it..The Prairie is rolling yards airiateing and spraying it is now demodded and making me money and one one slick work horse..I aint lookin back..jh

Thanks guys,, I believe my decission to get out and sell came too late but none the less I'm still doing it. I need to get bills paid and start fresh! I can always get another toy in the future if I really want one but right now I know what caused my downfall and I have a bitter taste in my mouth from it!
