At the local club the Kawasaki 2000 ATV Tour was there with the new 650. WOW that is the best I have seen! They will start to build them in Feb. and be in the showrooms in March. I will very soon have pictures up on my website!

Are you guessing that they will be $8000 or did they tell you that at the showing?

 

Good pics Tater! I only hope that the suggested retail price is a lot less than what you heard. Otherwise, Kaw, is gonna have a hard time makin' up ground.

great pics but i hope the price is wrong! i am a kawi dealer have not been told price yet. it has clean lines and weighs less than prairie 400 4x4. we were told of the tour at meeting two weeks ago. it is good looking and well designed bike can't wait to see one on the showroom floor although my dad said first one is his. again great pics. thanks d.j.

 

The price was something I heard from somebody who was there. The guy who did the tour really could not or would not say. My guess will be $7495. Only 500 more than the Rubicon. well worth it with the features it has. The thing I noticed about it was the sound. It is the smoothest running macine I have ever heard. It sound just like a Gold Wing! He started it up cold out of the trailer and it did not bog once. It ran just like it had already been warmed up. The part I like is the hand operated locking differential. The tighter you pull the left hand lever the more lock you get in the front end. I have never been a real Kawasaki ATV fan, but this one changed my mind. there is nothing on this macine I did not like. It will be the one that all the other manufacturers will look up to!

 

I talked to my Kawie dealer(Georges ATV) last week and he said the price would be around $7,000.
