Default Just bought a P700

Bought a P700 last Friday, from Rogers marine in Texarkana. I only have 20 miles on it now, installed the highlifter ignition module this morning. All I can say is wow, I am really impressed with this machine. I've been a die hard Honda fan for years, but I'm tired of the bold new graphic Honda is offering.

Has anyone had any problems with the p700 running hotter with the Highlfter ignition module?

The word is, is that with an Ignition Module like the DYNA I bought for mine, it should run cooler.....

Your HiLifter is probably advancing the time curve and would like wise make the P700 run a little cooler.....

You might also want to look into some "Water Wetter", it also helps the coolant scrub heat a little more efficiantly, and my bike ran cooler just with that stuff......Now my P700 hardly ever has the fan running.....except when I stop....

The paperwork that came with the Highlifter module made mention of the motor possibly running hotter. For no more than I have rode it I wasn't able to really tell how much the fan had come on anyway. The water wetter sounds like a good deal, I'll get some of that too.

I think I will keep a close eye on it and might even check the plugs color and see how they look.

Thanks for the welcome, I've actually been a member here since 99'.
