Default Help! Rocker arms sticking...not smooth!

Today I'm working on my rear cylinder (installing new piston and cam) when I noticed that the rocker arms are very smooth when I rotate them back and forth as compared to the front cylinder rocker arms that I inspected yesterday. Now I'm very concerned that one of these 2 rocker arms on the front cylinder needs to be fixed immediately b/c it was kind of sticky when I rotated it to the far side...the other one was better, but still not as smooth as the rear rocker arms.

So how do I fix these sticky rocker arms in the front cylinder? Do I simply remove the shafts that run thru the rocker arms and try to clean them and re-oil them real good or is it necessary to replace the shafts and/or rocker arms? I have a race on Sunday and I'm trying to figure out if I can get away with just cleaning and re-oiling these shafts (no time to get new parts before the race). What do you guys think? I don't want to risk damaging my motor...so I would like to know how most folks fix their sticky rocker arms.

Happy trails...
