Hey yall
i gotta 02 220 bayou with the 215cc sohc i dont have enuff power i run the guts outta it to get through the trails i ride now i was wonderin if any1 knew hwo much i could bore it without makin the cylinder walls to thin and i plan to jet the carberator sooonn with a k &n filter and jet kit. I was also wonder how much boring it would cost me and if the machine shop would sell me piston of that size and how much would that cost if any1 knows tell me lol thanks yall

I am pretty sure you can fit the cylinder from a 250 bayou on the 220 but you would prolly have to have the cases machined to make it fit. The only thing about doing that though would be that the 250 is running lower compression than the 220. And as far as I know wiseco doesnt make piston kits for the 250 yet. If they do its not in their catalog. I just had my 220 bored out half mm over and put in a wiseco piston kit it cost me 150 for the kit and boring and honing. I have the K&N filter and the dynojet kit in mine also and it works prertty good . I had it doing about 48 on a slight downhill which is pretty good considering my cam and rockers are just about shot I need to get new ones
