It will do great on the trails, and they can wheely alot easier than your raptor 350. It is a great all around bike, but because I am 6'2' and 210 it feels too small for me, which is why I went with a V force.

What I like most about it is that it has reverse, and is pretty light, and the motor makes good power.

It's not the best at anything. Like one quad my be the best drager but sucks at handleing or it is the best mxer but does not trail ride good. The KFX400 is the BEST all around quad. whoolies great! Good trail rider.

It's good at everything

Thats all I do with my 05 KFX400 is trail ride. I've met up with Banshee, 660R, YFZ, and TRX riders, and they've ridden my quad and have been quite impressed. I've widened the stance all around by 5", which helps alot with stability. The quad is the twin, or triplet I should say of the Suzuki Z400 and the Artic Cat DVX400, and with them winning alot of MX races, I didn't see a point in investing more into a TRX450R or YFZ450. The KFX400 also has a better seating feel to it - I'd say its the perfect trail sport quad out now.

Like what's been said, it's not the best at one thing, it's great at a lot of things. The '05, kfx400 and z400 are the same, except for color and nose piece. The '05 DVX 400, didn't get the new upgrades. If your looking to do a lot of wheelies, this thing will do them until the cows come home. The front end is light, too light for me. But, I don't do wheelies. It has power through out the entire power band You give it throttle and it responds Handling is nice and I like it as a trail quad also. The '05's also have rezzies on the shocks now too If you can, try and ride one, I don't think you will regret it.
