jetting question '00 Lakota
#1
I was putting the IDS2 together & noticed in the instructions it says 'for stock jetting, 6 to 8 discs are ideal. The core itself does provide some back pressure that can't be eliminated simply by adding discs. For this reason, 10 to 12 discs is the practical maximum."
Are they referring, still, to the factory jetting when they recommend the 10 to 12? ST also says that adding more discs will make it run leaner, which is what I don't want- I'm jetting my main to a 134, & setting the new needle on #3 as per jet instructions, & adding a K&N filter kit. I'm below 5000ft(Baltimore), does the 134 w/ say 10-12 discs along w/ the K&N sound about right? Any of you out there installed a Supertrapp w/ a rejet & K&N?
