Default Carb jetting on 650 Prairie

I had one of my carbs that was flooding ( sticky float valve ). When I took the carb appart ,I noticed the jets were of different sizes. One was a 38, the other a 42. Is that nomal to have different size jets for each carb in a V-Twin. Being a liquid cool engine , there should be no difference in temp. between the two cylinders.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

They are actually Kehin 138 front and 142 rear, this is due to the rear cylinder running hotter and therefore leaner. The rear cylinder runs hotter due to the hot air coming off the front cylinder. What is odd is the Arctic cat 650 (same motor) has the same jet front and rear 122.

I noticed you have a Napa snorkle for your bike. Is this something factory made or something you rigged on. And is this only for the air box or is it also available for the clutch fan intake.
Thanks for the jetting info, makes sense.
