Hi, i am about to buy a kfx 400 can u guys just tell me what u think about the quad!! O by the way whats the top speed with an full exhaust (white brothers)

 

lol mine top speed 03-04 is 69-71 stock top speed 05 is 70-73. with that system id say 74? way better xcel tho.

 

I love my KFX, I have an ALBA pipe on mine and my bike is sexy fast, lol. But 69-71 top end stock? nah. ATVSport says 61 mph stock, mainly due to low rev limiter, but not no 70 mph, what you smokin'?

 

i have a 05' kfx and love it. great for trail riding and everthing else. not the fastest when it comes to racing , but will hold it's own. suspention good and one of the best seats around. my not seem like much but try riding a yfz or a 450r for about 2-4 hours on a rough train. it will also beat all the other 400's out there. reverse easy to useand very realiable!

 

69-71 is the top speed on the z .a ex400 tops out at 64-66 .weight is a factor too.the stock gearing on z is not going to let you go much faster than 70 mph

 

I have a 05 kfx and i wouldnt trade it for everything. I just put on my pro circuit full system and the power gains were sick!

Pretty much everyone says the '05 will do about 72 or so, and the '04s will hit just under 70 stock.

I'll tell you this much, it's fast enough. I've only had mine since mid-April and I love it. Wouldn't trade it for anything except maybe another one. It's the perfect all around quad for me (and many others apparently) so I'm sure you won't be disappointed with your choice.
