what is the difference between the brute force and the prairie?
I myself own the 750 BF and have to agree with the suspension being sub-par. I have had mine for a little over 4 months and I have just over 700 miles on my unit. With after market tires and wheels, (use the 04 Grizz. offest) and this quad handles a ton better. Power is what I would expect if mine was running the way it should however I have had mine in the shop about 11x so far and the problem is still there. The quad sits high and does not make a good brush quad. As for mud and trail riding I think its ideal for that situation. I ride with a club (131 members) and we all have different makes and models of quads and the twin peaks 700 seem to out number all the others. But all in all the BF 750 is still not a bad unit but there is room for improvement!! Just my 2cents worth.

It all comes down to taste guys if you like straight axle or not. I thought it was funny however that Kawasaki brought the original Prairie back after getting rid of it last year.
IRS - in theory better ride but actually depends upon rider weight, better articulation over one sided obstacles, higher ground clearance down center of quad and actually less at the immediate wheel due to suspension connections.
Straight Axle - On a Prairie the smoothest ride in the industry for a Straight Axle, sportier trail aggressiveness riding style - rip that rear end around anywhere, lowest center of gravity of any big bore on the market, takes off cambers like no it is nothing else, ground clearance comprimised by rear drive axle in the center.
Brute Force 650 (Original Prairie) - Straight Axle 4x4
Prairie 700 - Straight Axle 4x4
VForce 700 - Sport Quad 2x4
Brute Force 750 - Independent Rear Suspension 4x4
Other models on Kawasaki
Artic Cat V650 - Independent with most ground clearance a behemoth 4x4
Suzuki Twin Peaks - Straight Axle 4x4
John Deere - Straight Axle 4x4 forgot what year though maybe it was 2003

i havent road a bf your right.
but i can read.
and even on this page there people that own them say the same thing.
blawhorn and cam 650.
and like i said if they fix the problem there wont be an issue.
NOT adapt like YOU say.
also i said i had an 03 ac with irs and i have road a grizzly 660 with irs and i also ride with a few irs quads and around here we have alot of big hills and off camber riding and the irs is not as good as the sra quads.
ps.
how many miles have you put on an irs quad.
i put 2800 miles on my cat in 1 year.
and in the last year i have put 2300 miles on my honda.
and since jan i have put 1800 miles on my prarie.
so i think i have a bit of expearence riding.
and some of it was on an irs quad.
2800 miles.
and from what im told by other people and from what i have read the cats supention is better then the BF so if thats the case.
then yes the irs needs work befor it will be the top dog.
so dont get mad this is just my opinion.
not yours.
