$3000 ain't bad for a T-4. They are limited in numbers so getting one is hard. Hey if it was in Michigan I would buy it. As long as the Plastic, frame and suspension compnets are good. Hell, around here 250R's are going for 3K plus. Also the T-4 is more unique. But the plus side of the R is that there is any part you need out there. I guess your blood has to run green to appreciate the Teacte line.

Whether $1 or $1,000,000, it is the owner's prerogative to set the asking price on the property they offer for sale.

If you believe the property in question is not worth the asking price, you have two options. First, you can attempt to negotiate a selling price that is agreeable to both you and the seller. This kind of give and take happens every day in the real estate market, and hundreds of times every minute of every day in the stock market. Second, if a satisfactory price can not be negotiated, you can simply walk away and be no worse off financially than when you started.

Every market is a function of supply and demand over time. The seller may have the only Tecate in the entire state. Scarcity of supply equals a high asking price. But regardless of supply or asking price, no one is twisting your arm to buy it. It is one thing to give an accurate description of the vehicle being offered for sale and then solicit opinions on the vehicle's relative value. It is quite another thing altogether to moan and whine like a three-year old about the seller, his motives, and the price.

Buy this Tecate, or look for another one. But in either event, educate yourself on how a market economy works, take a remedial English composition course, and for Heaven's sake spare us the inarticulate whining.

Hey I have a question also I found a 1987 tecate 4 250 for $2300 I do not know if this is a good deal but it has renthal bars, dura blue axle, fmf pipe and silencer, nerf bars, new tires and rims, helmet, goggles, gloves, adn extra tires and rims, 5 by 7 trailer. It looks great in the picture. I just want to hear from people who have a tecate or ride with a tecate if they have enough bottom end to run the powerlines and pull wheelies easy I mean I would like some mad bottom to mid power and also is this a good deal I mean it comes with all that stuff. O ya are there any places anywhere that have tecate parts like plastics, and just regular stuff and if I were to get the motor rebuilt would it have to be a tecate place or could a 250r place rebuilt it will it be that much of a hassle Please help me because I have a feeling it is going to be gone before long.

This is a really good deal. I would buy it. I had a 87 tecate piped and that thing was really awesome. My friend has a banshee bored out to a 370 and I could hang with him. The bottom end we were tha same. Mid range I could pull away from him until we got to top end he pulled away from me. The chasis wasen't the greate's. The 250 r 4 wheeler chasis was better. If I were you I would get the tecate and the trailer because that is the best deal you will find.

If I were to buy it and didn't like it or needed money do you think if I fixed it up could I sell it for more than $2300.

Also are they really that hard to get parts for. Like plastics and just oem parts. Would they have to be aftermarket.

mine has been done by LRD.
