Default 700 or 750 ????? what to buy

Hi guys
I now own a p-650 and was thinking about upgrading to a 700 or a 750 BF. My bike has a loud clutch knock it was rebuilt at the dealers and it still knocks. Also would a new cdi help her out of the hole? Wifes p 700 eats my bike ... But still would like to know which one is better any info would be great. thanks skun

Get a moose module for your 650, it'll wake up the bottom end. Its cheaper than a new cdi, but the cdi can do a few more things (good or bad depending on what you want). I had a p650 & now I have a Brute 750. I swiched because I liked the feel of the Brute better, however the p650 & 700 are sportier. The brute has a bit more power, but it isn't so much that i'd say get it for that reason--unless you just want to get a new quad. if you are happy w the p650, save a bunch of $$ & get the module.

Hi Jazz.
Did not know they made an Almond Secondary spring. Thought the Almond springs went in the Primary Clutch?

i got both the 650 and the 750 650 has alot of mods and the brute has the cdi and radial tires exept for power sliding which to me is no big deal the brute walks all over the 650 i have the hl mod on the 650 and it kept up with all the other 650's with the dyna cdi so its no slow machine but put that cdi in the brute and you would be amazed at the power diffrence from my exp the brute walks right on bye the prairie not saying its the same for everybody on the trails there is no decisive edge both will keep up with both maybe you got a buddy you can ride the brute for a bit with the cdi in it either bike is great. unless the knock in yourclutch really bothers you put a mod either moose or H/L they are both the same I think the cdi wakes the brute more then the others the H/L mod works great on my 650 and the moose should be just as good and is plug and play good luck

VTPrairie: I had a dyna cdi in both my bikes...the P700 cdi failed, sent it back and got a refund.

The VDI (Velocity Devices) CDI is about to go into production and I have an order in for one of those.

Dyna only built 2 igniters. One for the '02 which only had 2 plugs, and a 3 plug igniter for everything else including the BF750.

VDI is building an igniter for the P650 and P700, and a different igniter for the BF750. Raises the question of why didn't Dynatek build a CDI for the BF750? Just wonderin'.

thats a good question as far as I know the cdi from kawi is the same in the 03 650 and up so maybe vdi found something else out to our advantage and I went through 4 cdi's before I got a good one and I never had to touch my HL power pac but dyna was top notch on replacements just sucked for the money you had the aggrivation

You got a good bit of patience bro. We'll know more about the VDI igniter for the BF750 at the end of the year with experience, will post again then.
