On Any Sunday...a Classic MC Racing Movie!
#1
Ever since I watched Dana Brown's movie about the Baja 1000 (called "Glory to Dust") last spring, I have been wanting to watch the MC racing movie that his dad, Bruce Brown, made back in 1971 called "On Any Sunday." Well, I ordered the DVD from Borders bookstore last week and finally got to sit down and watch it tonite. Its a GREAT MOVIE. The best part is that the movie is timeless and covers every imaginable MC racing from ice racing to road racing to MX to desert racing, etc. Steve McQueen is featured in the movie simply b/c he was an avid MC enthusiast.
If you haven't had a chance to watch these 2 films about off road racing, you should go watch them b/c both are excellent. You can definitely see similarities between the two films...like father, like son as they say.

Cool...where did you see this show called A day in the Dirt? Is it on cable/satellite TV? If so, what network carries it?

It was on yesterday on cable, I am trying to remember the channel it was on. I will look it up in the TV guide and let you know. It had a ton of big name riders from old school to the new high flyers. The race was set up like a Iron Man race. Part dirt, part mud, part concrete and lots of jumps. The course was 3 miles long.
I'll let you know when I find it.
