Hi just picked up a klt-160 and I think the valves need to be adjusted can anyone tell me the factory spec on the valve clearance.

i just did my klt 160 and was told by the dealer .008 on the exhaust and .006 for the intake.

 

old thread, but... I have the red klt 160 w/ reverse and shaft driven, it's all original. The exhaust is rotting away, and I noticed a bit of loss in power when I took it out yesterday. She's still fast as hell though.

Anyone know where I could pick up an exhaust for this machine?

Eng'r. I have an 85 klt160 exhaust. It ain't pretty the muffler is loose from pipe but don't see any spots rusted thru. Need any thing else?? Plastics are sad at best and prop shaft doesn't look good. It runs and smokes more than I do
