I think it would be funny for all of us to goto our local dealers and wait in the show room and when someone walks in and looks at a Prairie or a BF tell them. " Hey you might really not wanna buy that. The front wheel can fall off and you will be waiting Months before the dealer can fix it. But you can keep making payments or put in your front yard as a nice lawn ornament or mail box stand. Or just haul it around on a trailer. I gotta calm down. I am about to go Postal on a nerd dealer with my SKS. See if I could ride my Prairie without thinking I'm gonna go into a turn and eat a Oak tree I would be a very happy person.

Inspect it , ride it , pay attention to it , until you get it fixed . They only tell you to NOT ride it to save themselves from lawsuits after some moron kills himself . Remember things break , and they are more prone to break unexpectedly if you don't maintain your equipment .

Actually. One of my dealers has me on a list as #6 when the parts come in. And this one I did not buy it from. Also seeing how Kawasaki is so brilliant look at the pic close enough and you will see that the front tires on the Prairie are BACKWARDS. I mean how stupid does that look. Even the tires have an arrow showing which way they go on. Maybe we should of had our front tires on backwards...LOL

Those trax are the TJD from Kimpex, they have a more agressive track but made for lower speeds. I have'nt found a hole that could stop them yet.If I can crawl into the hole without tipping forward, no matter how deep the hole or the snow , I can climb out of it. There's not a snowmobile out there that can go where I go with ease.

Hi Guys, I guess it depends on what part of the country you come from. I received my notice on my prairie 360 last week and when I called to make an appointment was told I would be put on a list. This morning I was told to bring it in as the parts were in and it would take about 2 hours for the job. They were as good as their word. I was particularly impressed because I did'nt buy my quad from them. Be patient guys, the parts are on the way.

I took mine in July 25 to have the service done(2001 prairie 400 4x4) The next day im going to pick it up and receive my letter about the recall. So I took them my recall notice and was first in line. I called yesterday to see how things are going and they said " havent recieved the parts to fix the situation'. He also said that there were 56 others in line and I am first. I just left it there so they could hit it as the parts come in. I checked mine and it was very loose. I had been hearing a popping noise when i turned sharp thought it was the shocks or something. I am almost to the point where im going to by a King Quad and just sit the kawie on the back burner.

Im on the list at two dealers, I know that might be wrong of me, but so is the thought of my wheel falling off..... Both of them told me they have the 360 parts coming in really quick, but all the others, the more popular 650, 700 and 400's are not in yet. Not too smart huh? If you ride it and the wheel falls off, Kawasaki has their "I told you so" allready on file
