Hi I'm looking to buy a Kfx 400 but I heard the Raptor 350's are nice does anyone have any advice?

 

Well i just had a rap 350 a few months ago,so let me help you.All around the kfx is the better atv,but the raptor 350 is also nice all around to,both are great for trails.The kfx could also be used for the track.If you get the raptor 350 you will save about $1000.So i say if you can get a kfx400 then get it,its just so good at everything.However the rap 350 is not a bad choice either and you'll be more than happy with it also.

 

I have a friend who reciently bought a kfx400. It is VERY GOOD at everything. He has modded it with a k&n, no airbox lid, Yoshi exhaust, pro com cdi, nerf bars, and dropped the front sprocket one tooth. With those mods his is suprisingly fast being only 1 or 2 lengths behind a 660 raptor with a piston and cams. I'm not saying anything bad about the 350 raptors but you are not going to be able to get that kind of performance out of it and that's without getting in the motor. Plus the suspension and handling is far superior on the 400.

 

get the kfx400, although if u buy a raptor 350 and put a pipe on it, k@n air filter, cam, carb, then u can like keep up witha kfx400, so im sayin if u put like the extra 800 dollars into the raptor 350 that u would spend on the kfx you mite keep up with 1,
i dunno get the kfx400!

 

Get the KFX-400.

It's a no brainer.

The Raptor 350 is nice...no doubt....but it's simply not in the same league as the KFX.

The Z400, KFM-400 and the DVX-400 are all basically the same quad...if memory serves me correctly.

I think that a lot of people would argue that the Z400 might be the best "all around" quad out there. Hence the KFX -400 also.

A few simple mods really wakes them up.

get the kfx -400 , if you don't and you ride one later you are going to wish you would have spent the extra money. great bike -it really is ,i use to have a shee and thought nothing was better.i almost bought another shee or yfz but im 27 and enjoy trail riding alot more than scaring the sh@@ out of my self. but like fast fatboy said i haven't even got into the motor yet and it runs real good. rides real smooth to,you can ride it all day and still move the next(i anyone has a shee you know what i mean.) don't know much about 350 so can't say much, good luck and take you time, ride both and think about were you going to ride it. this might seem stupid but what do your friends have? if their fast you are going to be putting money in that 350.

I'm 5'11 do you think I'll fit the Kfx? I've sat on one but my dad said it seemed like it was too small for me.

 

i'm 5'10 175 lbs , it fit's me just find. 350 smaller!!

 

Thxs for all your help guys im definitely gonna go with the kfx 400 no doubt about it. Theres just nothing else that compares to the kfx 400.
