Default Thanks everyone!

My '85 Bayou 185 is up and running. I bought new valves (intake broke off), and had an auto machine shop put them in for $20. Turns out the exhaust valve was warped too. I got it all back together, put the plastic and seat on, rolled it out of the shop, waited for the fuel pump to slow down and get some pressure in the line, and pulled. First or second pull it started briefly, and I encounted a recoil problem. 5 min later it was fixed and I pulled again. After a couple pulls, it stayed running and I eased the choke off, and put it in gear and took off! All gears work, including reverse. It runs like a top. I love it. And, the back end of the muffler rusted away, so it gives a nice, low rumble. I love it, and it is my first four wheeler, although I have put a few miles on a '95 Kodiak 400 4x4. It is different, for sure. The engine sure heats up, although maybe I notice it because my legs are right next to it. Overall I have about $300 into it, including what I paid for it.
