*Love* it of course. I have had it out three times in the last week. Today in particular I was glad that I got the 700 rather than anything else. I was doing a lot of technical trail riding and it would have been hard to do that as well as learn to work a clutch at the same time.

As far as your 700 my 400 will smoke check a 700 in every gear on any terain. It's like a corvette against a tank. a KFX 700 is a 4X4 quad that isn't a 4X4. it weighs in at a lil ol damb near a half ton. ha ha ha. pathetic, Kawasaki should be ashamed of that piece of shi#. Have a good Day

Hey everyone, check out Mr. Internet Tough Guy. Then agian if I paid almost $1000 more than I shuld have for my quad I guess I'd be talking a lot of junk too, to make myself feel better.

ajd, I agree, where we rode yesterday is not a good place to learn a clutch. Between the off camber sections, erosion control logs, and rain ruts on some of those hills it would be a nightmare. Also, even that stock exhaust note sounds pretty bad *%@ on your quad. That sound could get addictive! As for "Mr. 4hundo", dude I have seen 700's that just rip off the line with only a few mods. You'll "smoke check" a 450R with your mods? I guess that means you can hang close enough to sniff his exhaust? Might want to race a few 250R's then, they smell better

Glad you like it!!! Have fun with it, and oh, don't race DRDkfx4Hundo, he has a boost bottle on his 4 stroke 400. Everybody knows that's almost as good as a 3 stage nitrous system.

PS. It would be a good idea to get some aftermarket tie-rods. I haven't bent mine yet, but they are weak.

I rode a completely stock KFX400 and it felt so flat!! No midrange what so ever! You were changing gears up and down constantly. The YFZ for example, you can cruize in 3rd all day.. with the KFX400, you are always adjusting your gear...

Just my 2 cents.

Not trying to start up another stupid flame war like genious boy DRDkfx4Hundo here, but are you sure about that? It's pretty much common knowledge that the 400 has a much broader torque curve then the yfz. The YFZ has a peaky powerband and is mostly top-end power (hence 11k rpms). Ask any YFZ owner, they'll tell you there is little bottom end on the stock motor to work with, making you row the gears a lot more.

A Z/X will have an easier time lugging one gear high, than the YFZ, I'll bet my pocket lint on it.

Back to topic, DRDkfx4Hundo, stop bashing someone elses ride. Do you have displacement envy?

ajd187, hope you're enjoying it, those are pretty sweet rides.

DRDkfx4Hundo, the only thing pathetic in this thread is your post....
