Default KFX700 Mods

After I get break in behind me I am planning on making some mods that will work later when I change exhaust and air intake. I am planning to put in a K&N air filter now but I'm wondering if I will need to re-jet with no other exhaust or intake changes?
I also plan on changing to a EPI Pink or Dalton Blue/Orange spring and possibly Dalton Clutch Weights and Dalton Overdrive clutch cover.
Later I plan to change exhaust, increase air intake and re-jet.
Any feedback on these or other ideas is greatly appreciated!

I'm getting a 700 next week........cant wait. I think the blue/orange springs only works well with pipes. I know the pink, brite green, epi gold and epi red and polaris white are all good springs for stock 700's.

I have an epi in. I have the red spring and The EPI weights I left out the secend dairy black spring. It seemed faster with it in. It does not have the same top end I will put it back in tomorrow. As for the K&N no rejeting is needed.

When you change the exhaust, you will have to rejet on the 700 for sure. The exhausts will make a big difference in the way that the 700 runs. It will open it up and make it sound realy neat.

I would personally do the exhaust first. (I've seen what the stock muff looks like inside and it ain't pretty) Then the intake. Then the clutch last. All of the engine mods will affect the clutch.
Have fun with your new toy.
