I am thinking about putting some money into my bike and i want to get a good exaust system. I need to know what is the best pipe airbox combo for 750$ or under. I am either going with the ct sonic pipe or an alba racing pipe. Sound is no issue where i live

PS here is a link to the alba pipe http://alba.buyol.com/Item/LTZ400-PIPE-KIT.htm

I got the CT racing full system on mine and love it. Realluy up'ed the low and mid range power, nice distictive sound that is not load but not pansy-ish either. I got buddies with full Alba pipes and I can't stand them. They are really tooooooo load in my opinion. Great power in the upper end but the bottom lacks. Both pipes look nice, with the CT looking better. Yoshi, well my other buddy has a slip on, nice power increase for a slip on but those damn jap letters like like crap to me.

That was the other pipe is was looking at. It was a toss up between the WB E series and the CT racing. The CT seemed to have a nice band when looking at the dyno charts. Plus the CT has baffles you can add for tuning later on after additions. Same with the Pulsecharger, which is supposed to be a superior pipe in all aspects, but when looking at various pipe dyno charts they all are good with some peaking in power high, medium etc.....

this is from somebody that races cross country(gncc-type) , he also owns a atv repair shop. when i was looking at pipes he said yoshi and curtis sparks are his fav. but a to asked about the white bros. he said they used to be good ,but the company split and made two bros inc. he said the designers went to two bros. ive heard the quailty went down hill after that.
