lakota or mojave?

They are both good machines . I used to own a Mojave and never had a problem. I bought my wife a 2000 Lakota and took the racks off and add a pipe and a few other mods and it is a great machine also. But it all depends what you want. If you like a manual clutch and don't mind a kick starter get the Mojave, if not get the Mojave. The Mojave is also has a more high tech engine that responds to hop ups beter. I recomend you ride both before you make a desicsion.

I have both machines and like them both very much even though i had to rebuild the top end and oil pump due to the pump failing on the lakota. it was quite expensive, but i still like the quad. the lakota has the same eng. as the bayou 300 except for a slightly different cam.i had a bayou 300 that i couldnt destroy.
the mojave is an exellent quad for smaller riders, but too small for anaverage size adult.i ride my kids all the time and really enjoy every thing about it except its size.its quick, fast, and handles great.
so i guess it depends on your size and riding style. i would pick the mojave if it fits you and you do more sport riding.the lakota if your doing sport& work or hunting
hope this helps
