Default Best price on Brute force ?

Just trying to get a little insight from some other members here, Im thinking pretty hard about making my 04 KFX 700 stock ( exhuast etc. ) & trading it in on a new brute 05 or 06, I have seen guys getting good deals on 05's so I thought now might be the time, I havent been able to ride much at all in the year since I bought the v force, probably 4 or 5 times & I would like to have a 4x4 with a plow so I could at least use it around the house, But anyways If I can get some ideas on prices you guys got maybe I can have a little leverage when dealing & trying to trade mine, Thanks Todd

Todd, you happen to live in the same state that is offering some of the best deals on 05 Brutes, if they have any left. I live in Indianapolis, and I searched everywhere for the best deal on the 05 Brute because I knew that they were going to want to make room for the 06 stock. One of the places that I searched, was a place called Honda East in toledo Ohio. They quoted me a 05 Brute for $6,399 out the door, but since you are in Ohio you would have to pay your sales tax. They quoted me an 06 Brute for $7,049 out the door. I ended up finding the best deal here in Indiana, in which I got an 05 Brute for $6,242 out the door, which already included sales tax, plus they gave me the winch $69 promotion. I would direct you there but I know that they are out of the 05's. If Honda East has any left I am sure that you could get one for somewhere around that. Good luck man, I love the beast that I have in my garage now, its awesome. Let us know how it turns out!!

Thanks, thats only a couple hours from me, I will give them a call tomorrow, Any chance that was for a camo also? I really dont care what color though but I think the camo would be easy to keep looking good

I doubt that they would let a camo go for that, they always try to squeeze a couple hundred more bucks out of the special colors, they are even considering the 06 silver as a non-standard, higher priced color.

Yeah I noticed that, I like the silver also but that runs $7850 & the camo Is $7950 compared to $7599 for the standard colors, Man prices have come along way since I bought my first trailblazer 250 back in the day, But you never know, the 06 snow camo is awesome! but no way am I going to flip 8k plus for a quad thats why I would like to pick up a deal on an 05 if I can trade with out getting poked to bad

watch the camo man, it scratches off and leaves white plastic showing. (or whatever color Kawasaki happens to use, Polaris used white). new camo looks great, scratched camo looks like crap!

Well I definetly dont want anything that will look goofy after a little use , Im talking with the guys at Honda East now & they are trying to work out there "best" deal and give me a call back, They have all colors & camo in the 05's so I will have to see what they say.

Todd400,

Let me know how your deal goes... I have Olson powersports in michigan giving me $4100 for my 04 KFX700, and i can get a 05 750 4x4 or the an 06 650 4x4 for close to the same price. The price they are giving me is 6400 plus 69 plow installed, 6%tax, title, and prep. Delivered to my door they are at $7225. I think i can get them down another 1or2 hundred to make it close to 7 grand even. That is for either the 2005 750 or 2006 650. They only have woodsman green in the 05, but green or red for the 06.

I'm very interested in what you get quoted for your quad on trade. My only concern is that i owe 4300 on my 04 sport quad, so i'd have to pay the 200 difference, but what i'm concerned about is that the 05 will depreciate too fast versus payments, heck, the 06 will depreciate fast enough... What do you all think?

thanks

The market on the kfx's is definetly soft, Mine is about a year old & I am looking at about the same on trade I hope, They quoted me $6399 on 05's in all colors & $6699 on a camo, After they figured out I was serious they said they would get back with me on there BEST price all the way around & I could send some pics & put down a deposit & pick up on the weekend, when they call me back I will let you know, I am not going to make a 260 mile round trip with my Hemi with out knowing The bottom dollar If you want a good laff look at the kelly blue book site and do a trade in quote and a dealer quote on the kfx 700, Depreciation is a b*tch.
