My 750 can do more, handle better, and go faster where ever the 650i can go. Ive rode both, other than the power theres no difference. This thread is about the differnce between a 650i and a 750, not what Kawi whats to do in the future or tech stuff Einstein.

That is not a real smart comment. The BF650i is Kawasaki's latest realeased technology. It is leading the way for what the 750 may possible become in the next year probably. It handles alot better than the BF750 and has more power than the BF650 IRS. They wanted to try new stuff out with out jacking with the BF750 now and that will give Kawi a IRS carbed quad when they change the BF750 to a BF800 with EFI in teh next couple years, maybe?

I bought the 650i then before I went to pick it up I changed my mind and bought the 750 BF. Why they even make the 650i? When the 750 is the way to go. It may cost another $1000.00 but take my advice you will regret buying the 650i when the 750 has more power and power is wheres its at.

SORRY BUD- DOSENT TAKE AN EINSTEIN TO FIG OUT- YOU SHOULDA WAITED A YEAR OR TWO - THE 650I HANDLES BETTER -IS FASTER (SORRY AGAIN) 0-30 - AND EQUAL TO 50- UNLESS YOU ARE GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY OR DUNE AT MACH. 1 - YOU PAID TOO MUCH FOR THE LESSER MACHINE -- I AGREE THE 750I IS BITCHIN- BUT FOR THE EXTRA $$ ???? REALLY ??? - I REALIZE THAT THERE ARE GUYS - LIKE MY BEST FRIEND - THAT HAVE TO HAVE THE BIGGEST AND FASTEST - BUT HE EVEN --BEGRUDGINGLY- ADMITTED THAT HE WISHED THE 650I WAS OUT WHEN HE BOUGHT THE 750I - HE IS A YOUNG -TALENTED & AGGRESIVE RIDER - POSSIBLY ONE OF THE MAYBE 20 GUYS IN AMERICA THAT COULD RUN A 750I AT ITS POTENTIAL- THE REST JUST HAD TO HAVE THE BIGGEST - M-R

even for the power hungry riders, the 650i has an argument. here's a quote from Dirt wheels.
"it is conceivable that you could turn the Brute Force 650i in to an 800 with the money you saved over buying a 750"
in reality this route is not for everybody, but the 650i is worthy of a look no matter what you end up getting.

In my home town of Dallas, Texas they are selling the BF650i for $5,899, the BF750i for $6,299, a $400 difference.
If you look at the two ATV's side by side you will see what the dealer told me, that they are exactly the same except for the engine (and that is the same except for the displacement). The fuel tank is the same, the suspension travel is the same, the rack capacity is the same. How many different ways do you have to hear it?
I think they did it because they were already making the engine for AC so why not put it in the BF chassis and compete directly with the 650 V2.
I wanted Silver so that did it for me.

First of all I have a BF 650 SRA. Money was not the issue for me. I can not pull my dog wagon with your IRS suspension so I have to have a SRA plus I when I play I like dounuts, sliding, etc... You may beat meat me in a straight line but in the woods you might be eating your foot.
My remark was to your "why do they even make a BF650i?" wich is still a stupid comment.

Its all preference really... you have a SRA and it has its pluses but when it comes to anything invovling any ground clearance you'll be saying 'Winch!'.
As far as the 650i being faster 0-30 i guess we should put it up against the bomb 800 since its now kawi's fastest model.(sarcasm)
The only way its faster is if your friends 750 is a dog and the 650 has no detunes like all the other kawi models(750 is highly detuned without a replacement cdi). Maybe you're racing him with like 28" tires as well... who knows.

I needed to pull weight wich the BF750 can not do with its IRS. If they made a BF750SRA I might have bought it. The difference is not enough to justify the extra $$$$. The BF650 does exactly what I need it to do. GC or excursion capabilities is not an issue for me.
