Default Low speed miss Brute Recall??

Well I have been reading a lot about the low speed miss recall for the needles, but when I called my dealer he said that he didnt think that there was any out on my machine. Also, I looked up my VIN on the kaw website and there said that there wasnt any. So, is there one for my machine? It is an 05 and I picked it up from the dealer about a month ago. If there is, how can I prove it to my dealer? Thanks

Hey Bobby, thanks for the tip on the "technical service bulletin." I threw that one at them and they bit on it, they are going to get the needle changed for me next week. Ill let you know how it went when I get it back.

Default Low speed miss Brute Recall??

Took the Brute in last week and they had it back in two days, new needle, problem fixed. I had hoped that the needle would also help the initial grabbing of the throttle for wheelie purposes, but it did take care of the 10mph or so occasional burp in the engine performance. I am hoping that the CDI will give me the juice from as soon as I touch the throttle. I know this beast isnt fuel injected, but hey I can hope right.

I printed out a copy of the TSB from Nyroc's website. My Brute has that same little "miss" at low speeds. I'm gonna call my dealer up today!! Thanks guys!

I found this online if it can be of use to anyone else. They gave the range of VIN numbers that are eligible for the technical service bulletin. They are as follows.

VIN: JKAVFDA1_5B500001 ~ 513500
VIN: JKAVFDB1_5B500001 ~ 504641

Its a lean pop and you have to change the needle on the front carb to a NFKL needle jet and your dealer will look up your vin and see if it needs it
