Prarie questions please help!

My dad has a Twin Peaks, and we noticed that highlifter has a module that will give it a good bit of hp for only 110 bucks! We also noticed that there are some other companies out there too that have them. Which one is the best? Will one give more power than another? Also if we go with the highlifter module or any other one, will he need to rejet?
Thanks for the info!

All the modules do the same thing - they fool the CDI into thinking the machine is always going something like 7 mph or more so that the timing is more advanced than it is by default. So you can buy any module and get the same performance.
I am a big fan of Velocity Devices (VDI). I had their premium module on my BF 650. My BF 750 came with a Moose Module on it.
My Moose will be for sale when VDI releases their new CDI. VDI's customer service is hard to beat.

As stated above, all modules perform the same. So if I were you, I'd look for the cheapest one and/or the most convenient to hook up. Moose makes a module for the Prairie/Twin Peaks that has connectors so theres no cutting on the wires like the others (HL, DG, etc.).
PS - I have a used Canadian made module for the Prairie that I'd be happy to sell you for only $25 (includes shipping to the lower 48 states).

Will I need to rejet after installing one? We are considering the moose now, because it is 10 bucks cheaper. Plus my dad said he did not want to be splicing anything in. Thanks.

No you don't have to rejet. Modules only work from 0 - 7 mph, then they have no effect on the bike. If you want another low end acceleration mod, install a $20 spring from EPI or Dalton on your primary clutch. Best mod for the money I know of.

Thanks for the replys. Now I just have to talk my dad into spending the money, I am pretty close to. I told him I would buy it if he traded me machines, but for some reason he didnt take me up on that offer
