Default FRONT TIRES WEARING OUT WAY FASTER THAN REAR TIRES ON BRUTE 750, WHY?

I've got a Brute Force 750 and I noticed the front tires are wearing out alot faster than the rears. I've had it for almost a year and a half and it still has the stock tires. I know the tires will wear if your in 4WD alot, but I only really use the 4WD in the mud and I'm not in mud all the time (some mud-holes, but mainly woods riding) The pressures in all the tires are about 4-5psi.........what's going on???

My Brute ismy second 4X machine and all I can say is they both wear the fronts much quicker than that back as well as do al the other 4X quads I've seen.
I believe it might be due to the fact that the front are generally smaller and they almost always "push" or understeer on the big heavy 4X quads. 2X quads tend to spin their rears a lot more which might make up for the accelerated front tire wear too.

I have 02 Prairie with 2800 kms and my rear tires wore out faster than the front.. I sold the fronts the other day and they were about a 1/4 worn.. Rear I had to chuck.. Went with 26 mudlites about 2 months ago! Some glad I did..

I got a 02 Prairie 650 with about 1500 miles on it. I just recently purchased a new set of tires. The old front tires looked really good, I say they still had at least 75% tread left on them. The rear tires were bald. I do about 25% riding in 4wd, mostly alot of spinning in 2wd.
Good Luck "Dennis

yea, i agree with brokebrute and OGGYDOGGY. check your toe in because i have a bayou 220 and it has a big toe in. the fronts are are just like at 20% life on them. and on the back it has like 50% life.
