is the BF worth all the hype?
i rode a BF 750 for the first time today at a dealership. i was not impressed. i thought Kawies new flagship would be the best thing id ever ridden but i was sourly dissappointed. it turned like the it was in 4wd w/ the locker on (and it wasnt) and accelerated no where near as fast as my atv. i got a new Prairie 700 a couple days ago, and its without a doubt the best atv ive ever ridden in my 13 years of experience. it would run circles around the BF i rode. i was wondering if anybody else thought the same way or did i just ride a problematic BF?

You are not bashing the BF750, but it could be taken that way. I too love my P700, it's a powerhouse, and I think it will be a badass machine even more with my vdi cdi due to come out in a couple of weeks. If it is as advertised, I will have a dynatek cdi for sale.

Sell that Dyna, from the Beta Reports coming out now on this VDI Copperhead, sounds like we got a winner here.
I'm on the List for the BF750.
As far as testing that BF750 and comparing it to the P700 is not the right thing to do. One is a SRA the other is a IRS. Two completely different designs here. Yes, the P700 steers different, I know this 1st hand as I had 2 of the P650s. But in overall ride, comfort and a few needed upgrades to the tires/wheels then the BF is greatly improved in the handling department.

I've got a 02 Prairie 650 and just purchased a Brute 750. After riding the Brute, I don't even want to get on the 650. Brute rides better, handles better, better traction and is a lot stronger. My Prairie has a HMF pipe, clutch kit, jet kit, k+n air filter and has never been a slouch. However in a drag race my Brute leaves it off the line and keeps on leaving it on top end, and it's box stock. Was gonna give it to girlfriend, but after riding the Brute, she doesn't want that Prairie either. Therefore: For Sale: 2002 Prairie 650 with all goodies listed above.

I have both and they are both great. I loved the sport utility side of the paririe700. And, the bf750 IRS helps me with ground clearance in deep ruts along with a slightly softer ride. As far as which one is my favorite, it is hard to say. Sometimes I want my SRA and sometimes I want my IRS.

well don't buy a brute force. I took it out in the snow and the air box flow is connected to teh dirce belt to keep it cool. Well, they left it wide open in the back, adn me and many other people had snow packed in it. teh careratur was a ll screwed, the belt was slipping, adn my quad over-heated. I am gunna tell kawasaki to fix it with my waranty, adn trade it in for a polaris sportsman 700 EFI> the suspension sucked on the brute force to.
