( i think) so can some one give me some infor on what kit is the best band for the buck and what it cost? i heard that fundy power sports is alright... im just looking to run with yfz,s in a strait line drag and for the extra umph for strait up hill climbs

Yeah, you can go to Fourstroketech.net and you will find exacltly what you need and the price. They have several bigbores for your motor. TRUST ME HE HAS WHAT YOU NEED TO BEAT A YFZ-450 AND MORE.

Well if you get FST cams there will be big differances. The hotcams and webcams are not very good and are close to what stock is. But if you get his cams you have to get the valve springs, but are well worth the money. Also get the White Brother CDI it advances the timing by 4 degree's and lets it rev an extra 2500 rpm.

While your checking around call Keven at nmotion at 316-262-8900. From what I've been told they do very good work and will stand behind what they do. I checked into a 800cc bbk with porting and all the extra goodies a few months ago and was told it would be around $1500 with dyno tuning. You can pm cc1999 he is on this forum and has a 800 that was built by nmotion. According to him it makes crazy power on the dyno and on the dirt. He had a thread going a while back and had pictures of him layin on some sport quads. Good luck

Default going big bore?

hey fellers. i told a friend that i was thinking of going with the 765 kit from fst and he said that he rased one with his bomb 800 and took it by about 6 quad lenths in 500 ft.. does any one think there is any truth to this?? if a fst 765 prairie cant even take a stocl bomb then i might be tradeing it for one of these bombs... and input?

I doubt that bomb blowhard could even beat my P700 by that much, if at all, in 500'. And all I've got is dyna cdi (soon to be VDI cdi) and blue primary spring.

I raced a bomb that was well set up, one of the last races of the year, it was a 500 ft race, first 500 ft race that we have raced. The race was close. We raced with 22 inch tires on, which was a mistake and had clutch issues, but to give credit to the bomb, it was fast.

Power wise, you should have 10-15 HP on the bomb, but because they are geared higher (larger clutches), you won't see that HP difference in top speed. I would guess a well set up bomb will run in the 73-75 mph range. A big bore, with taller tires, will only run in the 75+ range, so the 6 length sound right.
