360p shifter hang-ups
#1
I have an 03 360 4x4 and recently the shifter hangs up in the "high" position if going from "low" to reverse. I need to blip the throtle before it will move out of the high position.
Can this be caused by the belt being out of adjustment? Pushing snow she smells a little.

I also have the same problem. Thats three of us now so I imagine that it happens to all of the 360 Prairies. It is mildley annoying but I don't think it's hearting anything. I just got mudlignts for christmas does anyone have an oppinion about them?

I sometimes have to rock it if I am on a slope...dont know if that is a problem. For the most part, I ahvent had to much problem....BUT... I did have linkage fixed a ways back after I rolled it and but a slight kink in old set up...
So maybe you want to start by looking at the shifter linkage just under the plastic on your right side....see if that is working/flexing properly...

No shifter hangups yet, but pretty much everything else has given me headaches on the 360. I am going to take a guess about your shifter though, has anyone tried turning the idle down a bit?? You may be idling just a little to fast to disengage the clutch weights--
I replaced my Dunflops with stock size Mudlites and I have loved them---Bike steers easier and seems alot more stable going into downhill turns, always felt like front end was tucking in before. I have been thinking about reversing all my tires for snow riding--I read in a forum that the mudlights perform awesome in deep snow when they are reversed.

Have had the shift lever hang up problem since the bike was new. Not all the time but it can be annoying. I did find, as previously mentioned, that rocking the bike and engine speed can get you thru the hangup. When I ask the service manager at my dealership about this he said it was a commen problem and they could look at it but I got the impression they had no cure. Since the problem is so minor, at least in my case, I decided to live with it.
OMM: Do the mudlites seem to have a stiffer sidewall? Have been thinking about replacing the stock tires with something a little stiffer to help stop the front end droop when using the bucket and blade. Would appriciate your thoughts.

so changing the gummers will help with that front end tuck I feel???
it does make it feel like I am going to tuck and roll at times...
was going to wait until I actually needed tires to go with the mudlites...thinking about 1 size up, not sure, cause stock size probably sufficent, since I dont really seem to have clearance issues...
