You need a Dynojet kit. I have the same problem, but I also have a slight hesitation on the takeoff. My kit will be here tommorrow so I can't give you any install details yet. It comes with new needles and a bunch of jets for different altitudes. They tell me it's a 3 hour install time. Most of the time is required for getting to the carbs!!! I can post more later in the week after I get it dialed in.

dont forget to jet front carb differently than rear. I got the kawi jet for front and it makes a big difference. I dont know if its richer or leaner .wish I had better help , also it may help to check syncronize of the slides and air screws

Well I can tell you that if do the dynojet kit you will NOT be disappointed in it. I bet this made 10 HP on the bottom end of my bike before it just coughed and stuttered then took off. NOW holy crap it is a friggin missile. It has instantaneous power and it just goes. The dealers messed with mine for ever and finally I took it to a dyno and had that guy install my jet kit. When we fired it up it was maxing the charts out on leanness. Even at full choke it would just be in spec. After that kit was put on which took a good 3 hours it is amazing. The power is so quick that just spins the tires on asphalt makes them smoke rather than just lifting the front. It dynoed at 70+ HP on the dyno and would climb well into the 8000 rpm range with a stock motor almost immediately It would hit 7500 then climb on up into the 8000+ range and it sounded mean. I would pay 800 dollars for the dynojet kit it is that much difference. This should be the first or second mod to any BF750 along with tires and wheels.

prairie650and700,

What elevation and what jets did you install? Are you running the after markets CDI's (Dyna or VDI)?

Ok the factory fix on my bike at least was a complete waste of time it made NO difference at all. When I got the needles out they had the damn things shimmed like a quarter inch not kidding. This kit completely makes this bike different. I am at about 700 feet elevation here. On the dyno during the same day my bro's bike 2003 P650 put down 45 HP with cams, copperhead, full FMF exhaust, DG snorkel, K and N, and a holy airbox. Mine has a dyna cdi, my exhaust mode, K and N two airbox holes and that is it noting at all done to the motor. I put the next to highest jet and the one under it I can jet one size higher with what Dynojet provides. And it runs perfect and WOW it sounds so much meaner when you hit the gas than my bro's. It was 74 Hp at about 6000 RPM and 69 lbs of torque at about 5800 rpms. At 5000 RPMs mine had about 60 HP while his was only at 20. I cannot explain the differences between the two. Any other questions just holler.
