Default CDI or degree key?

I have an '04 V-Force and I've been debating whether or not to install the 6* key or an aftermarket CDI. Are they accomplishing the same thing or should I go with both? My machine is stock other than a White Bros. E-Series full system and filter. I also have a O/B spring that I have to install.

Default CDI or degree key?

I'm not sure about on a V-Force but on my YFZ i used to have a bought a +1000 CDI and it made quite a bit of difference. The top speed was a little better and the excelleration improved. As for the Degree key i am not sure. Some cdis improve the timing curve... mace

20.00 for the key,

14.00 fo gaskets.

VS 100-up for CDI's

CDI's for the V do NOTHING. don't waste your time. and unless you can get the engine to rev over 8900 rpm and still make power the added rev limit is useless as well.
