On March 10-12 there will be a big ride in Sicily Island Louisiana. The event will be held at the Catahoula Recreation area. For info on the area you can check out atvdirtbikerecreation.com. At the Clash of the Titans event there will be some of the fastest atvs in the country there representing themselves and their "camps". Names like Craycraft racing, Horse Power Research, just to name a couple. I checked out the area online and if drag racing is not for you then they also have hill climbing, some very steep from what I understand, mud bogging, and trail riding. However sand dragging will be the main attraction at the clash. If you are looking for a ride to go on with good people and some awesome machines I would strongly suggest you check this one out. The riding area looks very nice and well mantained and the Clash of the Titans should be an excellent event for you and your family. You can check out the bombardier forum and website for more info. On their web site their rules state you must wear a helmet if you are drag racing or doing any difficult hill climbing. However I saw a lot of pictures of people racing and, even one video of someone hill climbing, without a helmet. I don't know what to tell you to be honest. If I were going to drive any distance at all and planned on racing or hill climbing I personally would recommend bringing a helmet. Come on guys cc1999 isn't the only one out there. I was really hoping to get more kawi guys to show. I posted something similar on all the forums and man you ought to hear the bomb guys talk. Now I know some of you have bombs too. But these guys talk like they don't need to take theirs off the trailer. I know the bomb 800s are quick but I also know some of you have something in the garage or shop too. Let's all get together and run'em win or lose it'll be fun.
